Once the fall colors hit in the Pacific Northwest, I feel a bit of a frenzy. The colors are fleeting and I want to capture as much as possible before they go away. There is a difference between grabbing a quick photo on a drive or walk, vs getting *the shot* of Fall. Typically I am looking for vibrant colors, and a location that can avoid a lot of people, cars and traffic signals.

Below you’ll find I’ve compiled my best, most top secret list of places to take fall photos in Portland over the years with locations and dates and times with peak fall foliage. Plus a downloadable google maps with exact locations. Enjoy!
