Hi again. Thank you for coming back to my Substack. Today I’m sharing about 2 in-person events I am hosting in Portland this November. One is based around women’s fertility and the other a fun food-themed movie night.
A click of the ♡ button makes a difference. So does sharing these articles with your friends- especially if one of these events would be a good fit for them. Paid subscriptions keep this Substack alive, always ad-free.
Halloween is this week, which means the Holidays are fast approaching. With this joyous (and crazy) season, events are at full force. I must admit I will be adding to that infectious energy with not only one event in November, but TWO!
I’m hoping there is a little something for everyone.
These have been planned for months now, and I am excited to bring them both to Portland for some fun, community and connection over food. After all, that’s what PDX does best.

All About Fertility Happy Hour
November 12th 6:00pm
drinks and food provided
Bar Loon 3326 Southeast Belmont Street Portland, OR 97214
FREE - RSVP HERE
This past summer I shared a video about getting diagnosed with endometriosis during my first consultation at Spring Fertility. While it was heavy news to receive, this appointment made me feel empowered about my choices when it came to reproductive health.
The majority of my audience is female and I wanted to open up this conversation to anyone who has questions about fertility, egg freezing and more. My doctor, Dr. Wu will be there to give information and do a Q&A! Feel free to bring a partner or friend. This is a casual environment that will allow you to explore options and see gauge if Spring Fertility is the right clinic for you!
This will be hosted in the back space of beautiful Bar Loon (here’s my video review), which has one of my favorite menus right now. The food is straight incredible and all covered by Spring Fertility. I hope to see you there- make sure to RSVP at the above link!
Foodie Films: Ratatouille // The End Party
November 17th, 7:00-9:00pm
Entry- $15 // Purchase seats
Tomorrow Theatre
I’m teaming up with PAM CUT (Portland Art Museum) to bring you the culinary delights of the best cartoon ever made, Ratatouille on the big screen! This film is as delicious as it is profound and has become my favorite comfort movie over the years.
Join for special pre-film party at 5 p.m. at a favorite neighborhood bar, The End, in advance of a screening of Ratatouille. They are creating a custom cocktail for the event, aptly titled: Oui Chef!
Then, walk on over to the theater at 6:30 p.m. to grab your seats and join me for a special intro to this heartwarming (and food-forward) film.

I really hope to meet some of you at one of these events in the next few weeks! xx
How fun is that! Who doesn't love Ratatouille? I think it's the only time I've found a rodent endearing...lol.
